Children
Children are an important part of our community at Pickens Presbyterian Church. We ensure they are cared for, loved, and taught the word of God.
A worship preparation class is offered for children transitioning from the nursery to staying in worship the full time. It is a three week program and is a great way to introduce 4 – 6 year old’s to what it means to sit through “big church.”
During the school year, an elementary-age Sunday School class is in session. This class allows children to learn more about their faith through stories, crafts, and more!
Pickens Presbyterian is proud to serve the children of the church, CDC, and community through Vacation Bible School. Children learn about God’s work in the Bible and their own lives through crafts, snack, recreation, drama, and music. They are able to share their experiences in a special Friday night celebration and VBS Sunday!
